Junior Graphic Designer

Production Design:

• Develop artwork files from provided direction for owned and 3rd party websites, emails, advertisements, social and video, ensuring the layouts are delivered to specifications.
• Prepare presentations for key check points and sign offs.
• Implement copy and visual changes through a multi-revision design process.
• Prepare final press and production ready files for channel owners and external venders.
• Organize and maintain creative production files.
• Provide timely, detailed and effective written and verbal communication to production partners and other in-house stakeholders on the status of design activities and deliverables.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders on the team including channel owners, designers, photographers and retouchers to ensure outputs meets objectives. 
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners (Brand, eCommerce, Product, External Agencies, etc.) on varied creative projects.
• Work with Marketing Project Coordinator to execute project timelines
• Stay up to date with industry, competitor and cultural trends.

Motion Design:

• Work with a Senior Designer to design and concept motion graphic solutions that compliment brand creative output. 
• Catalogue and edit video.
• Collaborate with the Art Director and Senior Designer in the conceptualization of motion graphic content by swiping and pulling inspiration as needed.
• Stay up to date with industry, competitor and cultural trends.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equviant experience and 1-2 years of production design and/or motion experience.
• Extensive knowledge of & ability to work in Adobe Creative Suites (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.)
• Experience/interest in motion graphics and building/editing animations with Adobe After Effects, Premier and Photoshop an asset.
• Experience/interest in UI/UX design an asset.
• Strong knowledge of fashion lifestyle industry and ability to pull creative references (e.g. photography, stylists, editors, art directors, etc.)
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders.
• Passionate about design and innovation.
• Ability to take art direction and critique, while working in an iterative process.
