SAXX Underwear Co. is looking for a Receptionist to join the team based at our Vancouver office location.

The Receptionist OPPORTUNITY...

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Receptionist will be responsible to greet, announce and direct visitors, answer phones, distribute mail and offer a wide variety of administrative support across the organization to ensure the smooth operation of the office. The Receptionist will deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers and display a consistent positive and welcoming demeanor.

  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Order and maintain office supplies, including food and snacks
  • Maintain and re-load postage funds
  • Open and Close the office
  • Distribute incoming mail and parcels, drop outgoing mail in mailbox
  • Act as point of contact for office maintenance services
  • Update & maintain employee lists and/or calendars ie. birthday calendar, car list & office directory
  • Administer Office breakfast program
  • Maintain office security by issuing and retrieving employee FOBs and keys
  • Partners with Finance to create SAXX Employee Portal accounts & provide employee training
  • Assist HR Director in event planning, research and execution
  • Partner with HR Director on employee OnBoarding/Welcome packages and facility tours
  • Ensure common spaces are tidy, organized and stocked
  • Fridge cleanouts as per established schedule
  • Load/unload dishwasher as needed
  • Ensure Boardroom is setup for meetings and arrange for catering where necessary
  • Schedule and arrange building maintenance as required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service or front desk role
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent phone manners
  • Motivated and self-directed to look for opportunities and take initiative
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on new tasks
  • Ability to multi task
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid computer skills particularly in Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be organized with a keen eye for details
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Highly efficient and extremely organized
